The Chief Executive Officer of the Department of Health may approve laboratories and analysts in accordance with Part 7 of the Food Act 2008 (the Act) (external site) for the purposes of carrying out analyses under the Act.

Approved laboratories and analysts in Western Australia
When consulting an analyst or laboratory to conduct a test, the enforcement agency should confirm with the analyst or laboratory that it is approved to conduct that particular test in accordance with the Act.
