The Infection Prevention, Policy and Surveillance Unit (IPPSU) provides expert advice to IPC staff and stakeholders in both public and private healthcare facilities, including haemodialysis units across WA. Responsibilities include:

Committees Terms of Reference

ICNET

ICNET is a web-based integrated system designed to provide real time clinical information for WA public hospitals. ICNET assists with infection surveillance and has alert capabilities to identify user defined events, including potential infections, patients requiring isolation and event clusters.  Information on ICNET can be found via the ICNET portal, this includes access and training. All enquiries are be directed to DoH.ICNet@health.wa.gov.au.
