Evaluation is a vital step in ensuring that the Western Australian community is benefiting from programs funded and managed through the Department of Health and its partners.

To assist with program evaluation, the Chronic Disease Prevention Directorate have produced the Evaluation Framework and Implementation Guide 3^rd edition (PDF 1MB)

This Evaluation Framework and Implementation Guide (EFIG) outlines a step-by-step process for program evaluation, and includes tools, templates and examples. Templates for each phase of the Framework can be downloaded:
