The Western Australian Health Promotion Foundation (Healthway) is a statutory board established under the Western Australian Health Promotion Foundation Act 2016. The object of the Act is to promote and facilitate good health and activities which encourage healthy lifestyles. The term of four Board members expires on 28 February 2018. In accordance with the Act, the Minister for Health seeks expressions of interest from suitably qualified individuals interested in serving on the Healthway Board.
Members must have knowledge of and experience in one or more of the following areas:
- arts
- finance
- governance
- health
- law
- management
- marketing
- sport.
Board or committee meetings may be held during or after business hours.
Remuneration is available to eligible members in accordance with Premier’s Circular 2010/02 and for an eligible member is $23,666 per annum.
