At 7am on Tuesday 24 November, the new St John of God Midland Public Hospital opens and Swan District Hospital closes.
The new hospital features a significantly expanded emergency department and new intensive care, high dependency and coronary units free of charge to public patients.
Additionally, the hospital will provide larger maternity, general surgery, mental health and rehabilitation facilities and new cancer services.
The new hospital is located in the historic railway workshops precinct; the main entrance can be accessed at Centennial Place.
