COVID-19 update 11 August 2023
WA Health is reporting a total of 677 new cases in the past week to 4pm yesterday (10/08/2023). As of 4pm yesterday, there were 405 active cases in Western Australia.
As at 4pm yesterday, there were a total of 59 people with COVID-19 in hospital, with three in ICU.
Sadly, this week’s report to 4pm yesterday includes 10 deaths, dating back to July 2022, which were reported to WA Health in the last week, aged from 60 to 81 years.

Total PCR tests for the timeframe were 4,592.
Total positive PCR tests for the timeframe were 152. Total positive rapid antigen tests (RATs) in this period were 525.
WA has recorded 1,351,412 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
Anyone experiencing symptoms is strongly encouraged to stay home if they’re unwell, and until symptoms have resolved.
