WA Health is reporting a total of 9,948 new cases to 8pm last night. There are currently 69,758 active cases in Western Australia.
To 8pm last night, there were 322 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 9 in ICU.
Sadly, today’s report includes 11 deaths, which date back to 21 April and were reported to WA Health yesterday; two women in their 90s, three women and two men in their 80s and four men in their 70s.
Due to confidentiality, no further information will be released by the Department.

- This data is based on the residential postcode of each case. The case may have an isolation address in another region.

Of the 9,948 cases, 3,707 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 6,241 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total of 11,529 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 705,723 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
