WA Health is reporting a total of 16,670 new cases to 8pm last night. There are currently 75,581 active cases in Western Australia.
To 8pm last night, there were 275 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 8 in ICU.
Sadly, today’s report includes six deaths dating back to 3rd of May reported to WA Health to 8pm yesterday; two women in their 90s, two women in their 80s, a man in his 60s, a woman in her 50s .
WA Health has reclassified the death of a woman in her 40s, who died in April, as a non-COVID related death.
Due to confidentiality, no further information will be released by the Department.

Of the 16,670 cases, 5,317 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 11,353 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total 16,050 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 507,544 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
