WA Health is reporting a total of 8,133 new cases to 8pm last night. There are currently 45,306 active cases in Western Australia.
To 8pm last night, there were 209 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 10 in ICU.
Sadly, two historical deaths dating back to 22 March were reported to WA Health yesterday. They were a man in his 70s and a man in his 80s. Due to patient confidentiality, no further information will be released by the Department on these deaths.

Of the cases, 3,653 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 4,480 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total 17,907 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 124,525 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
