WA Health is reporting a total of 7,075 new cases to 8pm last night. There are currently 38,742 active cases in Western Australia.
To 8pm last night, there were 180 people with COVID-19 in hospital, six in ICU.
Sadly, one woman in her 80’s who tested positive to COVID-19 has passed away on Sunday, but was reported to WA Health yesterday. Due to patient confidentiality, no further information will be released by the Department on these deaths.

Of the 7,075 cases, 2,213 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 4,862 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total 17,959 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 99,467 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
