WA Health is reporting a total of 5,351 new cases to 6pm last night. There are currently 28,603 active cases in Western Australia.
To 6pm last night, there were 260 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 12 in ICU.
Sadly, today’s report includes eight new deaths, dating back to 24 May, which were reported to WA Health yesterday.
This includes two men in their 90s; two men in their 80s and four women in their 80s.
Due to confidentiality requirements, no further information on these cases will be released by the Department.

Of the 5,351 cases, 1,866 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 3,485 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total of 10,417 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 871,777 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
