WA Health is reporting a total of 8,292 new cases to 8pm last night. There are currently 48,181 active cases in Western Australia.
To 8pm last night, there were 285 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 6 in ICU.
Sadly, today’s report includes nine deaths, dating back to 7 May which were reported to WA Health yesterday: a man and woman in their 90s, a woman and four men in their 80s, a woman in her 70s, and a man in his 60s.
Due to confidentiality requirements, no further information on these cases will be released by the Department.

Of the 8,292 cases, 3195 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 5,097 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total of 10,459 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 752,392 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
