WA Health is reporting a total of 6,249 new cases to 8pm last night. There are currently 35,451 active cases in Western Australia.
To 8pm last night, there were 262 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 10 in ICU.
Sadly, today’s report includes 14 deaths dating back to 14 May which were reported to WA Health yesterday; two women and man in their 90s, a woman and four men in their 80s, a man in his 70s, a man in his 60s, three women in their 60s and one man in his 30s.
Due to confidentiality requirements, no further information on these cases will be released by the Department.

Of the 6,249 cases, 2,475 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 3,774 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total of 7,874 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 838,548 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
