WA Health is reporting a total of 3,239 new cases to 6pm last night. There are currently 20,872 active cases in Western Australia.
To 6pm last night, there were 351 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 14 in ICU.
Sadly, today’s report includes one death, which were reported to WA Health yesterday – dating back to 31 July – a man in his 40s.

Of the 3,239 cases, 1,107 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 2,132 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total of 6,257 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 1,082,485 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
