WA Health is reporting a total of 1,380 new cases to 4pm last night. There are currently 6,887 active cases in Western Australia.
The latest figures from overnight show, there were 228 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 6 in ICU.
Sadly, today’s report includes one death, dating back to 24 August, which was reported to WA Health yesterday – a woman in her 40s.

Of the 1,380 cases, 465 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 915 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total of 3,453 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 1,129,562 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
