WA Health is reporting a total of 4,062 new cases to 6pm last night. There are currently 22,290 active cases in Western Australia.
To 6pm last night, there were 404 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 12 in ICU.
Sadly, today’s report includes four deaths, which were reported to WA Health yesterday – dating back to 28 July – a man in his 100s, a woman in her 80s and a man and a woman in their 60s.

Of the 4,062 cases, 1479 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 2,583 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total of 6,713 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 1,075,436 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
