WA Health is reporting a total of 3,821 new cases to 6pm last night. There are currently 23,310 active cases in Western Australia.
To 6pm last night, there were 404 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 14 in ICU.
Sadly, today’s report includes five deaths, which were reported to WA Health yesterday – dating back to 23 July – a woman in her 90s, a woman in her 80s and three men in their 80s.

Of the 3,821 cases, 929 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 2,892 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total of 8,037 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 1,071,464 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
