WA Health is reporting a total of 6,085 new cases to 8pm last night. There are currently 44,955 active cases in Western Australia.
To 8pm last night, there were 239 people with COVID-19 in hospital, 8 in ICU.
Sadly, a teenager has died in the latest reporting cycle to 8pm last night.
Today’s report also includes two historical deaths dating back to 14th April, which were reported to WA Health yesterday. The two historical deaths include a man in his 70s and a man in his 80s.

Of the 6,085 cases, 2,426 were confirmed via PCR test, the remaining 3,659 were self-reported positive rapid antigen tests.
A total 7,717 PCR tests were conducted at either state-run or private pathology clinics yesterday.
WA has recorded 343,108 cases since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
