COVID-19 update 10 July 2021

WA Health has reported no new locally or overseas acquired cases of COVID-19 overnight.

The State’s total remains at 1,033.

WA Health is monitoring 10 COVID-19 cases: five linked to the Perth northern suburbs cluster, four among returned travellers in hotel quarantine and the seafarer transferred from the MV Emerald Indah. He remains isolated in Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in a stable condition

All close and casual contacts identified in the northern suburb’s community cluster have so far tested negative.

Contact tracing continues with public exposure sites available on the HealthyWA website.

In Western Australia, 1,014 people have recovered from COVID-19.

Testing clinics 

Yesterday, 5,672 people were swabbed.**

To date, 105 cases of variant strains have been detected in Western Australia – 53 Alpha strain, 15 Beta strain, one Gamma strain and 36 Delta strain.
