COVID-19 update – 08 January 2021

The Department of Health has today reported no new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia. The State’s total remains at 874.

WA Health is monitoring 18 active cases and 847 people have recovered from the virus in WA.

There have been 650,942 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 103,678 were from regional WA.

Yesterday 1,447 people presented to WA Health-managed COVID clinics – 1,439 were assessed and 1,437 were swabbed.
