COVID-19 update – 07 January 2021
The Department of Health has today reported two new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia, bringing the State’s total to 874.
The new cases, aged between 2 and 36, have both travelled from overseas and are in hotel quarantine.
WA Health is monitoring 18 active cases and 847 people have recovered from the virus in WA.
There have been 648,211 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 103,294 were from regional WA.
Yesterday 1,420 people presented to WA Health-managed COVID clinics – 1,412 were assessed and 1,409 were swabbed.
