COVID-19 update – 28 October 2020
The Department of Health has reported one new case of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight.
The confirmed case is a female in her 60s who returned to Perth from overseas. She is in hotel quarantine.
The State’s confirmed COVID-19 case total is now 765.
WA Health is monitoring 50 active cases and 706 people have recovered from the virus.
Yesterday 789 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics – 770 were assessed and 769 swabbed.
There have been 483,274 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 81,548 were from regional WA.
