COVID-19 update – 25 August 2020

The Department of Health has reported no new cases of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight.

The State’s total remains at 653.

To date, 635 confirmed cases have recovered from the virus in WA, and there are nine active cases.

Yesterday 1,034 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics – 991 were assessed and 983 were swabbed.

There have been 328,471 COVID-19 tests performed in WA. Of those tested, 56,374 were from regional WA*

*The significant increase in negative tests reported today is due to a backlog of testing data received.
