The Department of Health has reported one new case of COVID-19 in Western Australia overnight.
The new case – a 13-year-old male – returned to Perth from overseas, is a close contact of a confirmed case, and is in hotel quarantine.
The State’s total now stands at 662. There are three active cases being monitored.
To date, 650 confirmed cases have recovered from the virus in WA.
Yesterday 437 people presented to WA COVID-19 clinics – 433 were assessed and 426 swabbed.
