Mortality review

The Western Australian Department of Health recognises that conducting review into deaths can help us to improve the overall quality of patient care that we provide.

There are a number of mechanisms in place under which a mortality review can take place:

• Western Australian Review of Death Policy
• Coronial Liaison Unit
• Western Australian Audit of Surgical Mortality.
