Family and domestic violence – guideline, reference manual, policy, education and training

Women's Health Strategy and Programs (external site) (WHSP), Women and Newborn Health Service (WNHS) provides guidance, resources and training to WA Health staff in the area of Family and Domestic Violence (FDV).

The WHSP Family and Domestic Violence Toolbox (external site) provides a range of information including:

  • best practice guidance on identifying and responding to FDV in a health service through the guideline, Responding to Family and Domestic Violence
  • information on screening, assessment and referral forms
  • client resources
  • guidance material for clinicians
  • information on supporting employees who are victim/survivors of FDV
  • useful resources and links 

WHSP provides family and domestic violence education and training for WA Health staff on a range of different topics. The FDV Training (external site) provides information on training topics, FDV e-learning packages, training calendar and how to register.
