The Medicines and Poisons Regulation Branch operates a telephone advice service for Schedule 8 prescribers. The advice service operates between 8:30am and 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Prescribers can speak with a pharmacist who can advise on the regulatory requirements associated with prescribing schedule 8 medicines, including any restrictions in place for particular patients.
