WA Health welcomes new graduates
WA Health's 2012 Graduate Officers
Twelve recent university graduates have joined WA Health this week, as part of the Institute for Health Leadership’s Graduate Development Program.
Graduate Officers are rotated through three placements during the year, and mentored by experienced WA Health staff as they work on diverse projects around the Department.
The Graduate Officers will commence their first placements this week at:
- Child and Adolescent Community Health
- Child and Adolescent Health Service
- Department of Health
- North Metropolitan Area Health Service
- South Metropolitan Area Health Service
- WA Country Health Service
Each year, the Institute for Health Leadership’s Graduate Development Program recruits up to 12 talented individuals to join WA Health in a range of non-clinical areas.
Graduates have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through full-time employment, with many recruits going on to join the Department in permanent roles once they complete their placements.
